Product Description
This superb form of carnosa forms long stems with attractive twisted leaves, like thick rope that can cascade to over 1 metre long. Relatively slow growing compared with other Hoyas, it is well worth the effort Display plants are a sight to behold and can become quite valuable. There are 2 variegated forms of Indian rope also available.
Flowers - Highly scented 12 to 15mm appear in clusters throughout the growing season, older buds can reflower each year so do not remove them.
Position - Full sun to heavy shade, flowers better under higher sun levels. Indoor it will gro well but will not flower as well.
Temperature - Cool to moderate range, may need to be protected in severe frost areas.
Water - Keep dryer in winter and moist in warmer months. If leaves wrinkle it is a sign of not enough water or bad root systems.
Fertiliser - Weak dose regulary in warmer months
Repotting - Only when plant is well advanced in the pot or mid spring to summer.
